Reviews
Lovely gallery with some amazing paintings on display from Gainsborough, Turner, Rembrandt and the exhibition of Berthe Morisot.
The gift shop is great too appealing to both young and old.
It has toilet facilities for the weary traveller and a good cafe.
Absolutely loved this exhibition and gallery. Not sure about the Sara shamma lady, her work is not for me. I'm surprised she got her work on the wall.
A lovely small gallery with an interesting permanent collection and well chosen exhibitions. The Berthe Morisot show was an excellent opportunity to see a selection of important work in a well curated and interpreted exhibition which also references pieces from the collection. Highly recommended!
Excellent experience at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, which is free to access their permanent exhibition, and a very reasonable £16 to book into their exhibition (pre-booking online is worth while just to skip all the queues at the gallery front entrance). The Berthe Morisot ‘Shaping Impressionism’ exhibition, which runs until 10th September 2023, is a beautiful and very insightful exhibition, and well worth the visit.
It is recommended to download the ‘Connects’ beforehand, which has the audio guide for the gallery, including audio content for the Berthe Morisot exhibition.
Really lovely lesser known gallery in a quaint part of London. Would recommend visiting here on a spring or summers day to take in the art, followed by a relaxing trip to the cafe, and a stroll around the village.
I didn't go inside the gallery as I'd done so before. Lovely inside and a lovely park outside in which to have dinner.
The gallery is set in a great location with an excellent cafe, nice grounds and interesting visiting collections.
M.K Ciurlionis Between Worlds collection was excellent and well presented. Great little gallery!
Wonderful gallery, the exhibition changes every few months. There's permanent portraits on display dating from tudor times to 19th century. Toilets are very clean and the shop has a nice selection of things perfect for getting a gift for someone or yourself. Great outdoor space with seating areas.
